Behind the Curtain: Members-Only Event

Museum Members are invited to an exclusive behind-the-scenes viewing of over two dozen flatworks not currently on display in Ray Harryhausen: Miniature Models of the Silver Screen, including original concept drawings, storyboards, and photographs from the archives of The Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation.
Guests will also enjoy a preview of our upcoming exhibition, The Music of Miniatures: Sidney Weiss Spotlight Exhibition (May 18 – August 30, 2026).
The evening will include the opportunity to purchase a selection of charming, handcrafted wooden boxes made by Sidney Weiss. Gifted to the museum by the Sidney A. Weiss and Jeanne L. Weiss Family Trust, the sale of these one-of-a-kind pieces will directly support the museum’s mission to educate and inspire, while serving as a unique memento of a legendary artist.
Light bites, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
