Class Description: The possibilities are endless and so is the fun when you join us for Petit Pastiche. Whether it's a surreal scene or an imaginative room, come play to your heart's content and see your cigar box creations come alive in this mixed media workshop.

Instructor Biography: Alice Vinson is currently a Master of Fine Arts Candidate in Studio Art at the University of Arizona, graduating May 2014, and teaches Design in the Visual Communications program there. She has conducted arts and crafts workshops for youth and adults since 2010 through local art organizations and schools, as well as the Arizona State University Museum of Art. Previous workshops include exploration in mixed media, sculpture, book arts and printing methods. Alice will also be teaching Petite Pastiche on May 17, 2014 at The Mini Time Machine as well as our summer clubHOUSE art segments.

Minimum/Maximum Enrollment: 10/20

Tools/Materials: Cigar boxes and some basic supplies will be included. Please bring collaging materials with you. Some examples include: old photographs, ephemera, fabric scraps, paper scraps decorative papers, found objects, yarn, etc. If you have extra materials we encourage you to bring them along for sharing or trading. We will have tools to share, but if you have your own cutting mat you may want to bring that with you.
