Danish Antique Shop, unknown artist, ca.1900

This wooden setting of a Dutch “antic” shop with the name, Leif Kobmand includes a window display, 16 drawer cabinet and shelving filled with antique miniatures. Toy shops were popular children’s toys in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. They were valued by adults for their educational merit.
